On Friday, 16 November 2018, at night at 0:20, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Raseiniai–Baisogala national road (kilometre 12.80), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
