On Friday, 16 November 2018, in the afternoon at 14:02, in Varėnos district municipality, Gudžių village, on Liepų street, a Volvo S70 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
