On Saturday, 17 November 2018, in the afternoon at 13:40, in Kelmės district municipality, Pašiaušės village, on Gėlių street near No. 25, a Citroen Xsara Picasso ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.38‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
