On Monday, 19 November 2018, in the morning at around 7:00, in Lazdijų district municipality, Cibūlių village, on the Druskininkai–Leipalingis–Seirijai national road (kilometre 22.70), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Setra S 309, a DAF FT XF95.430 and a Krone SDP27. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Setra (32 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
