On Saturday, 24 November 2018, in the morning at 8:39, in Raseinių district municipality, on Vaižganto street near No. 27, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Renault Kangoo, an Audi A4 Avant, an Audi 100 and a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI. One person was injured — the 66-year-old driver of the Audi A4 Avant (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Renault (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
