On Friday, 30 November 2018, at night at around 23:00, in Kelmės district municipality, Plauginių village, on Sedulos street, at the junction with Sedulos street, a BMW 530 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
