On Friday, 7 December 2018, in the morning at 9:55, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 22.08), a Volvo registered in Russia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Volvo (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered.
