On Thursday, 29 November 2018, at night at around 0:00, in Ignalinos district municipality, on Ligoninės street, at the junction with Turistų street, a Neoplan N 316 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Neoplan, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
