On Tuesday, 11 December 2018, in the evening at 17:20, in Jonavos district municipality, on Sodų street, at the junction with Klaipėdos street, an Audi 80 Avant hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Audi (15 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
