On Saturday, 15 December 2018, in the afternoon at 14:18, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 19.60), at a gas station, an Audi ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.71‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
