On Friday, 21 December 2018, in the morning at 7:05, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 21.85), an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
