On Saturday, 22 December 2018, in the evening at 19:33, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 47.11), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the DAF (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
