On Sunday, 30 December 2018, in the afternoon at 16:01, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 87.05), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
