On Thursday, 10 January 2019, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėda, on Smiltelės street near No. 6, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A8 and a Renault Megane Scenic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
