On Friday, 18 January 2019, at night at 1:45, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Antakalnis–Jieznas–Alytus–Merkinė national road (kilometre 62.20), a DAF FT XF105 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the DAF (33 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
