On Saturday, 19 January 2019, in the evening at 19:30, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 63.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Lexus IS 220 d registered in Great Britain, a Volvo V70 and a Varmlandsvagnen. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Lexus, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
