On Friday, 25 January 2019, in the evening at 19:30, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Kupiškis–Utena national road (kilometre 34), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a other motor vehicle and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
