On Sunday, 3 February 2019, in the evening at 17:12, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Daugpilis–Rokiškis–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 52), a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated cargo-transport rules. He fled the scene.
