On Friday, 8 February 2019, in the afternoon at 16:55, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Naujasodžio village, on Akmenų street near No. 11, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki and an Audi A4. One person was injured — a 10-year-old passenger of the Suzuki (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 12-year-old driver of the Suzuki, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
