On Sunday, 3 March 2019, in the evening at 19:17, in Druskininkų municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 26, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic, a Toyota Corolla Verso, an Audi A6 Avant and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Honda (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.41‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
