On Saturday, 9 March 2019, at night at 23:40, in Šiauliai, on Pramonės street, at the junction with Žemynos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota RAV4 and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Toyota (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.70‰ blood alcohol).
