On Friday, 15 March 2019, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania R 113 ML and a Nissan Almera Tino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Scania (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
