On Thursday, 11 April 2019, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 134.65), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (11 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
