On Thursday, 16 May 2019, in the evening at 18:20, in Trakų district municipality, Liepynų village, on Liepynų street near No. 11, a collision occurred. Two people were injured — the 10-year-old driver of a light quad bike (hospitalized, was not wearing a helmet) and a 10-year-old passenger of a light quad bike (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 10-year-old driver of a light quad bike, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
