On Friday, 31 May 2019, in the afternoon at 11:01, in Vilnius, on Gerosios Vilties street near No. 18A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
