On Friday, 7 June 2019, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 42), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane, a Schmitz Cargobull and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Renault (14 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
