On Sunday, 9 June 2019, at night at 1:09, in Švenčionių district municipality, on the Švenčionys–Lentupiai national road (kilometre 2.50), a BMW rolled over. Two people were injured — the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 22-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
