On Sunday, 9 June 2019, in the evening at 21:48, in Vilnius, on Laurų street near No. 28D, a Toyota IQ ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Toyota (38 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.16‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
