On Wednesday, 12 June 2019, at night at 23:26, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Antkopčio village, on Veiviržo street near No. 2, a Nissan Almera hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Nissan (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.92‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
