On Thursday, 20 June 2019, in the evening at 17:25, in Tauragės district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 133), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Renault Trafic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
