On Monday, 24 June 2019, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Ateities pl. near No. 105, a Honda Concerto hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 120 km/h.
