On Friday, 5 July 2019, in the morning at 10:30, in Kauno district municipality, Sausinės village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 108), a Mercedes-Benz C 200 CDI ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
