On Sunday, 7 July 2019, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kelmės district municipality, on Žemaitės street near No. 47, a bicycle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 21-year-old cyclist, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.34‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
