On Wednesday, 10 July 2019, in the evening at 20:55, in Kelmės district municipality, Skogalio village, on Lakštingalų street near No. 15, at the junction with Vyšnių street, an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.45‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
