On Sunday, 21 July 2019, in the afternoon at 13:02, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Subačius–Raguvėlė regional road (kilometre 2.10), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.87‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
