On Thursday, 25 July 2019, in the evening at around 19:00, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 36), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Roomster and a Skoda Superb. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Skoda Roomster (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
