On Saturday, 3 August 2019, in the afternoon at 16:28, in Raseinių district municipality, Ilgižių III village, on Tilto street, at the junction with Paminklo street, a Mazda 323 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
