On Monday, 24 June 2019, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Šiauliai, on Gytarių street near No. 19, a moped rolled over. One person was injured — the 29-year-old driver of a moped (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of a moped, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.10‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
