On Sunday, 11 August 2019, in the morning at around 6:00, in Varėnos district municipality, Užuperkasio village, on Merkio street near No. 10, a vehicle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
