On Wednesday, 21 August 2019, in the evening at 17:13, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street near No. 7, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Solaris and a Volvo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Solaris (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
