On Sunday, 25 August 2019, in the evening at 20:30, in Kėdainių district municipality, Vitėnų village, on the Kėdainiai–Krekenava–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 9.50), a collision occurred. The collision involved a motorcycle and a Seat Ibiza. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of a motorcycle, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
