On Wednesday, 28 August 2019, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Šakių district municipality, Paluobių village, on the Rupinai–Griškabūdis–Kudirkos Naumiestis regional road (kilometre 25.10), a Massey-Ferguson rolled over. One person was injured — the 68-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Massey-Ferguson (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
