On Friday, 30 August 2019, in the evening at 17:36, in Raseinių district municipality, Pikelių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 204), a Saab 9-5 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Saab (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
