On Thursday, 29 August 2019, in the evening at around 18:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Nakonių village, on the Troškūnai–Sudergis–Subačius regional road (kilometre 6), an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
