On Monday, 2 September 2019, in the evening at 17:47, in Klaipėda, on Debreceno street near No. 31, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 D, a Lexus IS 250, a Citroen C4 Picasso, a Volkswagen Passat, an Alfa Romeo 156 and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (11 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He evaded sobriety testing and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
