On Saturday, 21 September 2019, in the afternoon at 13:40, in Zarasų district municipality, on the Veselava–Liaudėnai–Visaginas regional road (kilometre 5.50), a BMW 330D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
