On Friday, 27 September 2019, in the evening at around 20:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 109.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz, a Henra registered in Netherlands and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
