On Monday, 30 September 2019, at night at 0:10, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 111.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
