On Monday, 7 October 2019, in the afternoon at 14:50, in Šiauliai, on Dubijos street near No. 83, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the DAF (9 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
