On Tuesday, 8 October 2019, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 195.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia and a vehicle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Skoda (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
